About this website
This website was created by the Jimmie Simpson Advisory Council, a volunteer group that works with City of Toronto staff to help the community centre. The Council meets once a month at Jimmie Simpson. Hopefully our website can answer some questions about the centre. For specific questions regarding programmes, camps and swimming time etc. please contact the Jimmie Simpson staff via the centre’s contact details.
The council continually is looking to expand some of the programmes that we support. We are looking for corporate partners to help increase the programming that we support.
The Council is involved in the following activities;
- Jimmie Simpson community events
- promotion of Jimmie Simpson programs
- feedback to staff regarding programs
- fundraising for programs
